Many years have passed, but the forest remains the same. Take a train from Oslo to Gjøvik, get out at Movatn station and hike in any direction.

KAYAKING AND CYCLING AROUND THE VEGA ISLAND 

The Vega islands that are included into UNESCO’s World Heritage list are a fantastic place for short trips. Rent a bike on the mainland, in the town of Brønnøysund, and take a ferry to the main island of the archipelago where you can ride a bicycle wherever you want. If you are tired with the bike, rent a kayak here in the island.
